Volkmann Curette

Volkman Curette is a highly useful instrument in neurosurgical procedures. This curette is a multi-purpose instrument that can be used to for scraping tissue for biopsy or more basically to clear the surgical field and allow more direct access to the area that is being operated on. Additionally this curette is double-headed making it a two in one tool. This curette is available in a variety of different styles that vary in their length as well as in the cups on each end some of which feature two oval cups or two round cups or those that have one oval and one round.
